Polydispersity

This is an old term that describes a measure of the distribution of molecular mass of polymer. Since 2009, IUPAC has proposed new name as "molar-mass dispersity (Ð_M)". However, the term "polydispersity" is still being used in current literatures.

Polydispersity ratio calculation

• M_w = mass-average molecular weight
• M_n = number-average molecular weight
